Our Renowned Chefs


Paul and Nikki Cohen are the geniuses behind Riverbank. Paul completed his apprenticeship in 1991, and Nikki started cooking whilst completing her Bachelor of Food Science and Hospitality degree (RMIT) in 1991. They have both been in the industry for 30+ years, allowing them to draw inspiration from a range of experience and all over the world. The duo seamlessly synthesise the familiar and the unknown, to form daringly bold and delightful flavours.
Our carefully crafted menu accentuates the uniquely exquisite flavours that have come to define “Riverbank Moama”.
Paul and Nikki's goal from the beginning has been to create a space that you can enjoy on any occasion, with the same amazing experience every time.
Nikki is a lady of many talents, or as she refers to as “a lady who just likes to bake cakes”, and has become renowned for her amazing desserts - made from scratch every day. A spin off from your all time classics with the inspiration from our “Grandma Shirl.” Nikki is the type of person who doesn’t settle for anything but the best – which is evident in her incredible desserts.
